The Challenge
Advance the evolving Michelman brand in print, digital, and cinematic mediums, taking into consideration cultural and linguistic differences in regions where the global chemical manufacturing company is based.
Michelman, a Cincinnati-based, family-owned chemical manufacturing company, experienced a period of exciting growth in 2018 as they opened an Innovation Center in India and continued to iterate off their 2014 rebrand. As a designer there in the summer of 2018, I took on a multitude of projects which promoted Michelman’s sustainable processes in trade shows, infographics, and on social media. Additionally, I created systems which made the production of sell sheets and printed literature more efficient, while developing new graphic guidelines for the creation of social media graphics and slide decks to be used internally.
Below is a small sample of the work that I produced during my time there.

Welcoming Michelman visitors
This 8-and-a-half-minute long video played consistently in the TV in the Michelman lobby. Created to introduce visitors to Michelman and help them pass time while they waited, this video combined facts about Michelman’s history, news, and latest innovations. It also acted as an extension of Michelman’s growing digital visual identity.
